Recover From Stuttering - Make Your Fluency Management Work!

Newsletter 38: April 2013

It’s Easter, widely associated with the symbolism of new life, renewal. This is a great time to reflect on aspects of our lives that we want to change or enhance to allow self-improvement. Ask yourself what you want out of life and what is important to you. Some aspects may benefit from starting afresh and looking at things in a brand new light.

If you want to create a desired habit, and make an everlasting change, just do it and keep doing it. In regard to fluency management, repetition is the key in order to harness and create the habit of maintaining good technique. If repeated often enough, the strategy becomes a habit of using good fluency technique more and more of the time.

It’s pointless to set goals yet not believe you can achieve them. Once you’ve decided on using positive fluency maintenance, release your potential.

"The secret of making something work in your lives is, first of all, the deep desire to make it work;

then the faith and belief that it can work;

then to hold that clear definite vision in your consciousness and see it working out step by step, without one thought of doubt or disbelief."
